Williams Service Funeral Home announces the death of Dr. Theodore Chester Dixie, Sr. of Huntsville, Alabama. Funeral Services for Dr. Dixie will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Fellowship Presbyterian Church (3406 Meridian Street North, Huntsville, AL 35811). The Reverend Gregory Bentley will be the officiant and The Reverend Dr. Amanda Goodson will be the eulogist. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Gardens (1 HL Cleveland Way, Huntsville, AL 35806). Dr. Dixie will lie in repose at Fellowship Presbyterian Church one hour prior to the funeral service. Public viewing will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm at Nelms Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (2501 Carmichael Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35816). Mr. Dixie was the husband of Bettye Williams Dixie, formerly of Tuscaloosa.
