Williams Service Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Shirley J. Cockrell of Tuscaloosa. Funeral Services will take place at 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Elizabeth Baptist Church, located on 2650 Elizabeth Street in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Dr. Vernon Swift, Pastor, will officiate with burial to follow at Hulls Cemetery in the Hulls community. Mrs. Cockrell will lie in state one hour prior to funeral time. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, in the chapel of Williams Service Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 pm. Williams Service Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
