Mr. Sam Cunnigham was born July 2, 1913 in Mississippi. He was a bus driver for the Noxubee County, Mississippi School System. He was a devoted member of the Gavin Lodge #23 Masonic Order of Macon, Mississippi. He was a former member of Christian Love Baptist Church, Praire Point, MS. He is a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Little Sandy, Tuscaloosa, AL. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Bell Gipson Cunningham. He departed this life on April 30, 2009 at the Glen Haven Nursing Facility in Northport, AL. Sam leaves to cherish his memory, 8 children: Jimmy T. Cunningham of Chicago, IL; Rev. S.L. Cunningham of Tuscaloosa, AL; J.D. Cunningham of Northport, AL; Willie Earl Cunningham and James Curtis Cunningham both of Tuscaloosa, AL; Steve Cunningham and Annie P. Harris both of Macon, MS and Rosie P. Cockrell of Syracuse, NY.
