Reuben Haye was born on September 9, 1929 in St. Joseph Parish, Jamaica to the late Nathaniel and Arinda Haye. As a young man, he and his wife moved to America, Rochester, New York where he lived and worked as an Automobile Technician at General Motors. When General Motor opened a new plant in Tuscaloosa, he was given the opportunity to move to the new generator plant. At retirement, Reuben decided to remain in Tuscaloosa. Reuben passed from this life on the 27th of October at Hospice of West Alabama. He will be remembered as a loving father by his two daughters: Marilyn Lee and her husband Percy Lee of Rochester, NY and Debbie Lawrence also of Rochester, NY. A beloved special love, Christina Barnes of Tuscaloosa, AL. Grandchildren, great grandchildren and many special friends and beloved relatives in both the United States and Jamaica. In many hearts, he will be remembered.
