Williams Service Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Mettriss Simmons of Tuscaloosa, AL, who passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Heritage House in Northport, AL. Funeral service for Ms. Mettriss Simmons will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at St. Paul AME Church in Taylorville, AL.  Burial will follow in Taylorville Community Cemetery. Public visitation will be held on Friday, July 12, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Williams Service Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
