In profound sorrow Williams Service Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. James Lee Peebles, who passed on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Noland Hospital Tuscaloosa. Funeral service for Mr. Peebles will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, at 1:00 pm, at Zion Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Morris Bowie officiating. Burial will follow in Zion Hill Cemetery in Jena, Greene County, Alabama. Public viewing will be on Monday, August 5, 2019, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm, in the chapel of Williams Service Funeral Home. Mr. Peebles will be placed in church one hour prior to funeral service. Williams Service Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
