Williams Service Funeral Home announces the death of Reverend James Griffin (known as ''Grip'') Hardy of Eutaw, Alabama.  Funeral Services for Reverend Hardy will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 21787 County Rd. 20, Boligee, Alabama. Reverend Kelvin Cockrell will officiate with burial immediately following in First Baptist Church of Union. He will lie in state one hour prior to funeral services. Public Viewing will be on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the chapel of Williams Service Funeral Home. Williams Service Funeral Home will handle the arrangements.
