Williams Service Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Carrie Ann Thoennes, age 41, who passed away peacefully with family by her side, on the morning of Friday, September 4, 2020, at Hospice of West Alabama, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin on May 29, 1979, to Gregory and Sandra Thoennes. Her biggest accomplishment was her boys. She took pride in being the best mother she could possibly be. To know Carrie was to love her. If you had an encounter with her, you were instantly a friend. She had a heart of gold and her bubbly laughter could touch your soul. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Thomas; her children, Tyler, Nathan(Man), and Tristan; her father, Gregory Thoennes; her sister, Crystal Thoennes (Bobby); her brother,  Christopher Thoennes (Shaira), her grandmother, Joanne Roderick; her nephews, Cody, Cameron, and Chance; her mother-in-law, brother-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Carrie is joining in heaven her mother, Grandma Ree, and Grandpa Roderick. The family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date. Williams Service Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
